ABDM for a diagnostic lab, without the press release

ABHA is the national health identifier. A hosted LIMS vendor is a Health Repository Provider. M2 as a HIP is the NHA bar. Production APIs and sandbox APIs are not the same switch.

What is in Atom LIMS today

M1: ABHA OTP and Scan and Share, as a display and link on the patient. M2: HIP care-context and an NRCES DiagnosticReport bundle. M3: HIU fetch under a consent artefact. Restricted HIV values stay out of a share unless a specific consent exists.

The adapter is a fake in this build. The module is gated. Production is dark. That is the true sentence. “ABDM ready” on a competitor homepage usually means a slide.

What we will not do

Aadhaar is not an ABHA. UIDAI storage rules and the Aadhaar Act are why Atom LIMS has no Aadhaar column, no masked Aadhaar, no eKYC XML. EHR Standards 2016 named Aadhaar as preferred; ABDM and UIDAI have since made that the wrong branch. We follow the “else” — UHID plus ABHA.

What the lab still has to do

HFR registration per facility. HPR for the signatories. Consent for linking. The two-hour HIP transfer clock, encrypted to the HIU key, is an NHA requirement we will meet on a real adapter, not on a demo tenant.
